Overview: Online Labels Group is hiring Flexographic Press Operator Apprentices to join our growing production team. This role is ideal for individuals with strong mechanical aptitude who are interested in learning the full lifecycle of label manufacturing through hands-on training. Selected candidates will be enrolled in our Flexographic Press Apprenticeship Program, where we partner with a technical collegestyle training approach to teach press operation, setup, troubleshooting, and production quality from start to finish.

No prior flexographic experience is required however working with industrial equipment or production machinery is desired and we will train you! This program is designed to prepare you for a long-term career as a Flexographic Press Operator!

    Pay: Starting at $16.00/hour and up based on experience. Pay increases are tied to skill development and progression in the apprenticeship. Higher starting pay will be considered for candidates with prior technical or mechanical experience.

    Through structured, hands-on training, apprentices will learn:

    • Flexographic press operation and setup.
    • Plate mounting and ink systems.
    • Material handling and press adjustments.
    • Print quality control and inspection.
    • Troubleshooting mechanical and print issues.
    • Full label production lifecycle from setup to finished product.
    • Safe operation of specific flexographic press equipment.

    Training & Shift Details:

    • Initial training will take place on 1st shift (MondayThursday).
    • After training, you must be flexible and willing to work the assigned shift.
    • Shift placement will be based on business needs and training progression.
    • Shift differentials apply depending on assigned shift (2nd and 4th).

    Required Qualifications:

    • Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
    • Ability to stand for long periods and work in a production environment.
    • Basic math and measurement skills.
    • Willingness to work flexible shifts after training.
    • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
    • Ability to communicate in English to ensure safe and efficient operations.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Technical school, vocational training, or mechanical certification.
    • Manufacturing, printing, or machine operation experience.
    • Experience working with industrial equipment or production machinery.

      Physical Demands:

      • While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel.
      • The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
      • Vision abilities required to perform this job include close vision.
      • The employee may be required to lift up to 45 lbs.
