Work Shift:

8hr-1st Shift (United States of America) The Quality Technician Lead provides direction and support to the Quality team. Drives compliance with standard operating procedures and policies, such as Safety, Quality, GMP, and CPS.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Champions a safety culture, ensures a safe work environment, and promotes safe behavior.

Monitors environment and becomes aware of conditions that may affect employee safety and security; takes corrective action.
Communicates to ensure employees learn and comply with specifications, blueprints, job orders, and company policies.
Prepares training plans and conducts or assigns safety, maintenance, machine operation and quality assurance training to new employees.
Prepares documentation and provides performance feedback to introductory employees.
Provides feedback to plant leaders concerning employee performance and behavior.
Ensures employees have required tools, supplies and area to exercise their duties.
Develops and implements quality related training programs for all employees.
Applies statistical tools and techniques to monitor plant performance and finished goods.
Performs in-process inspections of manufactured product during molding, packaging and loading.
Communicates quality issues and out of specifications conditions to plant leaders.
Completes laboratory testing and collects samples at established intervals.

Other duties and roles maybe assigned by plant management

  • Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.

Minimum Requirements:

-valid drivers license

-One plus years' experience in Quality Technician role.
-One plus years' experience in manufacturing.
-High School diploma.

Preferred Qualifications:

-Associate's degree or equivalent.
