The Packer is responsible for packaging the plastic containers for use by our pharmaceutical, cosmetic, food and industrial customers, in accordance with the established methods. The packer is also required to perform a variety of tasks related to ensuring that production runs smoothly:
- Assurer l'application et le respect des normes de securite de l'entreprise et de l'usine selon les lois et reglements applicables
- Prendre connaissance de l'ordre de production et de la methode d'emballage selon les requis du client
- Effectuer une verification visuelle de la qualite des contenants produits avant de les emballer
- Soulever tout probleme de qualite a son superviseur en cours de production
- Effectuer l'emballage des contenants selon la methode etablie
- Preparer les boites et autres effets necessaires a l'emballage selon les requis
- Passer le balai et maintenir son poste de travail propre en tout temps.
- Respecter l'ensemble des procedures de controle de la qualite et autres politiques de l'entreprise
- Effectuer toute autre tache demandee par le responsable de production.
Job Description
- Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and with applicable laws and regulations
- Be aware of the order of production and packaging method based on the customer's requirements
- Conduct a visual quality check of the containers produced before packaging them
- Raise any quality issues with their supervisor during production
- Package the containers in accordance with the established method
- Prepare the boxes and other effects required for the packaging based on the requirements
- Sweep and keep their workstation clean at all times.
- Comply with all quality control procedures and other corporate policies
- Carry out any other task requested by the Head of production.
QUALIFICATIONS :

EXPERIENCE :
Des competences de base en mathematiques sont requises.
Une experience de base en informatique est requise.
Un diplome d'etudes secondaires ou l'equivalent (GED) est preferable.
Reussite de la formation Associe a la production/emballeur d'Altium dans les 90 jours suivant la date d'embauche
Formation secondaire de base ou un programme DEP dans un domaine connexe
EXIGENCES PHYSIQUES :
Les exigences physiques decrites ci-dessous representent celles auxquelles un employe doit repondre pour accomplir avec succes les fonctions essentielles du poste. Des mesures d'adaptation raisonnables peuvent etre prises afin de permettre aux personnes handicapees, autrement qualifiees, d'executer en toute securite les fonctions essentielles, sauf si une telle adaptation entraine une contrainte excessive pour l'entreprise.
Dans le cadre de ses fonctions, l'employe doit regulierement se tenir debout, marcher, utiliser ses mains pour manipuler ou toucher des objets, et tendre les bras. Il peut parfois etre amene a grimper, garder l'equilibre, s'accroupir, s'agenouiller ou ramper. L'employe doit frequemment soulever et/ou deplacer des charges allant jusqu'a 50 livres ( 23 kg).
ENVIRONNEMENT DE TRAVAIL :
Dans l'exercice de ses fonctions, l'employe est regulierement expose a des pieces mecaniques en mouvement dans un environnement de production. Le niveau sonore est generalement eleve. La temperature a l'interieur de l'usine peut varier entre chaud et froid selon les saisons. Le port de l'equipement de protection individuelle (EPI) est obligatoire dans le departement de production et dans les autres zones designees.
