We are seeking an organized, motivated, and mission-driven professional to join the California Conservation Corps (CCC) Headquarters' Support, Training and Education Pathways (STEP) Branch in the Training Unit.
In this role, you will:
  • Support our statewide Training Unit by performing procurement duties ranging from complex processes in the state Fi$cal system, to searching for venders that can provide dynamic training.
  • Forecast and track fiscal year expenditures and monitor the unit's annual budget.
  • Collaborate with the executive team and other units to meet departmental training demands and develop a statewide training calendar.
  • Support training events by providing logistical planning, finding training venues, lodging and more!
  • Co-facilitate in-person and virtual training and perform evaluation analysis and recommend improvements.

Please Note: This position is classified as "Hybrid" and is currently eligible for full time telework due to on-going renovations at CCC Headquarters (HQ) located at 1719 24th Street, Sacramento, CA. However:
  • You may be occasionally required to work from the CCC Sacramento Center location (570 Bercut Drive, Sacramento, CA) based on business need (printing, mailing, meetings, etc.).
  • Once HQ renovations are complete, you will be notified and the in-office reporting location will revert to HQ (anticipated return is August or later) and this position will revert to a "Hybrid" schedule.
  • Effective July 1, 2026, there is a Statewide mandate that requires a work schedule of four days of in-office work per week for all "Hybrid" eligible positions
