Position Summary

This position will report directly to the Head of Development. The PK-5 Territory Development Manager provides support to partners, instructors, and works collaboratively with other departments to ensure that the company core value of โ€œexceptional serviceโ€ is being met.

This position will focus on but is not limited to expansion of services, current partner relationships, instructor relationships, and increasing services/touchpoints to support partner sustainability and fidelity of Conscious Discipline Practices.

Key Responsibilities

Territory Expansion & Strategic Growth

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales and partnership strategy to expand Conscious Discipline's footprint in PKโ€“5 public school districts.
  • Identify and pursue new district and school opportunities aligned with organizational goals and market potential.

Consultative Sales & Relationship Management

  • Engage in consultative sales practices by actively listening, identifying customer needs, and delivering customized solutions.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders including district leaders, school administrators, instructional coaches, and other influencers.
  • Increase depth of engagement with existing partners through value-added touchpoints and enhanced service delivery.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with internal teams including marketing, product, operations, and customer success to support the full partner journey.
  • Ensure a seamless handoff between business development, implementation, and long-term service teams.

Sales Execution & Pipeline Management

  • Conduct high-quality meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations to showcase our solutions.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate sales records, pipeline activities, and forecasting within CRM tools.

Market Awareness & Innovation

  • Stay current on education industry trends, district funding opportunities, and the competitive landscape.
  • Leverage insights to refine messaging, tailor solutions, and anticipate market needs.
Requirements:

  • 5 years of strong consultative selling skills, with a focus on active listening and customer-centric questioning.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with a remote team.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and align with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and tailor solutions to diverse customer needs.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • 40-60% travel required
  • *A remote position but must live in the Aligned Territory

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in educational sales, business development, or account management is preferred.
  • Experience working with K-12 schools, districts, or educational service providers.
  • Knowledge of funding cycles, grants, and purchasing processes within the education sector.
