The Opportunity

Location | Stamford, CT (Hybrid: 3-4 days/week in office) Reports to Senior Director of Operations | Ryan Smith

We're seeking an experienced Operations Associate to strengthen our Operations Team. In this role, you will support day-to-day management of 3PL's / Warehouse partners, scheduling incoming Freight Shipments from factories, dealing with issues relating to B2B and B2C customer deliveries, handling shipping delays and ensuring blockages are flagged and resolved in a timely manner. You'll collaborate closely with the operation team and our factory partners around the world, and play a key role in improving processes, tools, and reporting methods. Will work closely with a counterpart based in the UK to ensure our global customer and partner base is managed efficiently. The position will require a candidate to manage the ordering and fulfilment processes used by Arccos and its Retail Partners such as Amazon, PGA Tour Superstore and Dicks Sporting Goods. Key is to ensure the unique SOP's are understood and followed. This is a role ideal for someone who thrives in problem solving, developing good relationships, identifying flawed processes and creating solutions.

What You'll Do
  • Day to Day coordination of 3PL's in USA and Canada to monitor incoming Freight deliveries from Factory and outgoing B2B and B2C orders
  • Inventory monitoring and replenishment planning with Ops leaders
  • Managing all projects with 3PL's and internal teams including but not limited to - internal transfers, bundle builds, returns and replacements and SKU conversions
  • Overseeing Retail Partner orders and fulfilment, ensuring all parties follow agreed procedures and delivery schedules
  • Real time monitoring of US Orders and working closely with the Customer Experience Team - provide order cancelling support, implement address changes, provide shipping status, and alert to low inventory levels
  • Liaise with 3PL designated carriers for customer shipments but manage Arccos specific shipping accounts for any third-party shipments regarding transfers, management dictated shipments, manufacturing specific equipment, etc.
  • Deals with all issues relating to Domestic Carriers such as FedEx & UPS to flag delays and interface with their support teams to find resolutions ASAP
  • Supports Sr Dir Ops to coordinate with Arccos Freight Carriers to schedule shipments, monitor shipping progress, Domestic Customs management and customs issues, ensure correct shipping documentation is prepared
  • Oversee US returns and coordinate with Ops leaders to schedule refurbishment
  • Placing time sensitive VIP orders
Qualifications
  • Minimum High School Diploma, ideally a degree in a business-related subject
Must Have
  • Experience in a similar role, and a good understanding of international and domestic freight processes, documentation and customs needs
  • Experience in working for a company which develops and sells hardware products
  • Experience of working with domestic and international carriers
  • Familiar with handling customer orders, ASN's, shipping delays, customs procedures domestically and internationally
  • Ideally some experience of production planning and supply chain
  • Must understand how 3PL's operate and have solid experience of using their tools and portals
