Job description

  • Partner with management to promote positive employee relations and support effective performance management
  • Advise supervisors and managers on coaching, corrective action, performance concerns, employee development, and employee relations matters
  • Respond to employee questions and provide guidance regarding company policies, procedures, benefits, and HR resources
  • Provide guidance and support related to conflict resolution, workplace concerns, performance issues, and employee relations best practices
  • Conduct and/or support workplace investigations, including gathering information, interviewing employees and management, documenting findings, and making recommendations
  • Provide guidance and support related to FMLA, ADA accommodations, multi-state leave management, unemployment, workersโ€™ compensation, and employment laws
  • Partner with HR, management, and employees to resolve employee relations matters professionally, promptly, and consistently
  • Support HR initiatives related to recruitment, compensation, benefits, employee development, compliance, and other HR functions
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation
  • Stay informed of federal and state employment law changes and assist with policy and process updates
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Minimum of three (3) years of progressive HR experience
  • Experience in employee relations, performance management, compliance, FMLA, ADA accommodations, multi-state leave management, unemployment, workersโ€™ compensation, and federal and state employment laws
  • Experience supporting employees and managers across multiple states
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently while collaborating effectively with the HR team and business leaders
  • Experience with Dayforce preferred
