Job description

Come join our F&B team as a full-time Server Assistant for our Carillon Restaurant- PM SHIFT! We are AT&T Hotel and Conference Center located in the heart of UT Campus, Hook 'em!
We are looking for both PT availability, Tuesday-Saturday 2-10PM is when Carillon PM is open for; ideally we need someone 3Xweek, focused on weekends.

Principle Responsibilities & Position Purpose:

Assist restaurant service staff by setting and clearing tables as required.
 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Bus tables according to standard, including removing dirty plates, glasses, dishes, silverware, teapots, coffeepots and other serving dishes from tables. Primary role is cleaning and resetting tables during meal periods.
  2. Clean debris from tables, floors, chairs and side stations throughout shift, using proper equipment, cloths and sanitizer.
  3. Assist servers in providing Platinum service by completing such task as refilling beverages, pre-bussing plates, bread and butter service, ascertaining drink orders, delivering checks, etc…
  4. Stock side stations with proper amounts of silverware, napkins, glasses, cups, condiments, etc.
  5. Carefully, safely, and properly stack heavy trays.
  6. Clean service station and sweep/mop/vacuum floors periodically or when instructed.
  7. Assist in preparing floral decorations on periodic basis.
  8. Prepare dish pit for service in the absence of a steward.
  9. Assist greeter in setting up tables, greeting guests, pulling out chairs, answering phone etc…
  10. Reset tables to Flik standard. At end of shift, turn tables to dinner or breakfast set-up, depending on station.
  11. Set up receptacles for trash and dirty linen.
  12. Transport clean and soiled linens as required.
  13. Complete opening and closing side work as instructed.
  14. Each associate is expected to carry out, within their capabilities, all reasonable requests by management.

SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS

In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by management based upon the particular requirements of the company.

  1. Monitor special requests for guests
  2. All other reasonable requests as required
