Job description
With a deep understanding of the Conferences organization, this individual sets direction for project execution, manages a portfolio of strategic initiatives, and ensures alignment to business goals while driving efficiency, continuous improvement, and meaningful impact in a fast-paced environment.
What You Will Do:
- Lead end-to-end projects which support the priorities of the global logistics team through effective stakeholder management, project planning and implementation. Projects span across all logistics teams and will collaborate with cross-functional peers and require a resourceful individual with a passion for continuous learning
- Identify and leverage data-driven metrics to measure the success of projects and initiatives, creating a compelling storyline and presentation for senior leaders across the organization.
- Manage Key Initiative Meetings (KIMs) to report on the progress of projects and key initiatives through defining meeting objectives, agenda and content creation, meeting preparation, meeting notes & action items and timeline management
- Collaborate with our Logistics team and Centers of Excellence to advance initiatives that harness customer insights, enabling the delivery of an elevated, innovative on-site experience that aligns with attendee needs.
- Build trusted partnerships with team members and leaders across the organization, leveraging in office time to connect with stakeholders, learn from your peers and keep a pulse on priorities across the teams
- Partner with key stakeholders and leaders across the logistics team to drive forward strategic changes, identify compelling solutions and ensure alignment of conference portfolio priorities
- Track attendee feedback responses and scores flagging trends within the data to translate the needs of our audience.
- Continuously seek opportunities to expand knowledge across the competitive market, emerging trends and all functions of the logistics team
- Ability to travel up to 15%

- Bachelors degree with focus on project management
- 10 years of project management experience
- Experience leveraging project management technology programs to record project milestones and track status updates.
- Experience of large, complex events
- Proven budget management abilities

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 107,000 USD - 161,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
