Requirements

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly capable and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our condominium community. This role requires strong hands-on technical skills along with the ability to independently manage daily building operations when needed. The ideal candidate is confident, experienced, and able to step into a lead capacity if required.

Core Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, mechanical, and building systems
  • Complete work orders efficiently while maintaining high quality standards
  • Perform preventative maintenance and maintain accurate service logs
  • Respond to emergency repairs independently and professionally
  • Maintain inventory control and proper use of parts and materials

Compliance and Safety

  • Adhere to all federal, state, and local safety regulations
  • Ensure proper handling of hazardous materials
  • Maintain a safe environment for residents, staff, and vendors
  • Follow reporting and documentation procedures accurately

Resident Relations

  • Respond promptly and professionally to resident service requests
  • Communicate clearly and respectfully with homeowners and stakeholders
  • Maintain a service-focused and solution-oriented mindset

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 to 5 years of residential or condominium maintenance experience
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical systems
  • EPA 608 Certification required, Universal certification preferred
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office systems including Excel and Word

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to move throughout the property and navigate stairs
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to operate standard maintenance tools and equipment safely
