Description

As a Concession Worker/Attendant, you will be responsible for providing fast, friendly service to guests, preparing and serving food and beverages, and operating point-of-sale (POS) systems. 


Schedule

In this role, you will primarily work on day shift, with potentially some added evening shifts as necessary 


Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Cook and prepare menu items using standard kitchen equipment, including but not limited to a flat top grill, fryers, convection ovens, toasters, beverage dispensers, refrigerators and coolers.
  • Take and place order, serve and garnish food and drinks efficiently and accurately in work area as applicable.
  • Collect money, while following all proper cash handling and comp procedures.
  • Maintain knowledge of selling techniques and service delivery for both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and items on the menu.
  • Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and the appearance of the front and back of house area, clear tables and counters; sweep and maintain the cleanliness of the dining area without interfering with the comfort of guests.
  • Pack and complete order as per guests' preference with necessary condiments.
  • Perform opening and closing duties based upon shift assignment.
  • Stock and replenish coolers, refrigerators, supplies and machines as needed.
  • Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise, refer the matter to management, notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft.

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED Preferred

Work Experience

  • 2+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience Customer Service - Preferred

Additional Requirements

  • Work varied shifts, to include nights, weekends and holidays. - Required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of menu items, including cooking/preparing all menu items using standard preparation methods, glassware, garnishes, products, menu items, supplies and equipment.
  • Knowledge of standard kitchen equipment, including, but not limited to flat top grills, fryers, convection ovens, toasters, refrigerators, and coolers, slicers and beverage machines.
  • Knowledge of health, safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Basic computer skills and experience with varied Point of Sale (POS) systems.
  • Excellent customer service skills as well as interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
