Position: Concessions Manager
Location: Menahga Public Schools
Employment Type: Part-Time/Seasonal $3,000 (stipend) for the year.
Reports To: Activities Director

Menahga Public Schools is seeking an organized, dependable, and customer-focused Concessions Manager to oversee the operation of the school concession stand during athletic events and other school activities. This position plays an important role in creating a welcoming experience for our students, families, and community while supporting school activities and programs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all concession stand operations during assigned events.
  • Recruit, schedule, and supervise concession stand workers and volunteers.
  • Order, receive, and maintain concession inventory and supplies.
  • Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed.
  • Prepare concession stand for events, including stocking and setup.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary concession area.
  • Monitor inventory levels and recommend menu items and pricing.
  • Coordinate with the Activities Director regarding schedules, special events, and operational needs.
  • Provide excellent customer service to students, families, officials, and community members.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to supervise staff and volunteers.
  • Experience in food service, concessions, retail, or customer service preferred.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays during the school activity season.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Must successfully complete a background check.
