Seasonal Concession Stand Attendant
Public Works
FLSA: Non-Exempt
JOB SUMMARY
This position is a seasonal/temporary position responsible for the operation and handling of activities at City park concession stands.
MAJOR DUTIES
  • Prepare simple food concession items for sale.
  • Process all customer transactions and enter payment in a computerized spreadsheet.
  • Reconcile daily receipts, prepare daily bank deposit, and complete end-of-day inventory log.
  • Maintain a daily log of product inventory and track stock levels.
  • Restock and clean concession stand and restrooms between shifts.
  • Set up and break down equipment for various sporting activities.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Ability to read, write and perform mathematical calculations at a high school level.
  • Basic working knowledge of food and beverage preparation.
  • Ability to accurately count and handle money transactions.
  • Must be at least 16 years of age.
  • Must be friendly, personable and well-groomed and available to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Possession of a valid Georgia Driver's License is preferred.
