High School - East and West BuildingsPosition: Cougar Concession Stand Worker
POSITION SUMMARY:
The position is responsible for selling goods and providing friendly customer service to patrons of the concession stand. Employee will be responsible for using proper food safety practices, money handling, food preparation, restocking, and cleaning.
ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS:
1. Sell goods to patrons of the concession stand
2. Prepare food properly according to food safety standards.
3. Analyze patron numbers in order to plan ahead for busy periods by keeping up stock on items that have to be cooked or baked.
4. Run cash register and count change for customers.
5. Ensure cleanliness of the concession area by cleaning and mopping during slow periods of business. Clean lobby tables regularly and at shift end.
6. After and during shift restock coolers, plates, trays, chips, and any other displays.
7. Wash all coffee pots, pans, and utensils used during shift.
8. Take inventory throughout shift and add items needed to concession needs list.
9. Remove refuse from stand and bring to outside dumpster.
10. After high school games assist drivers with bleacher cleaning.
11. Clean all machines following the directions provided on the concession cleaning list.
12. Sell pro shop items, checkout locker room keys, and supervise lobby area.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1. 16 years of age or older
2. Valid driver's license or ability to get a ride to and from work
3. Ability to work evenings and/or weekends
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Previous experience in food preparation and concession stand labor.
2. Previous experience in a customer service environment.
WAGE:
$11.50 per hour
