Job description

Overview

Concentra, the largest occupational health care company in the country, is looking for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to support our outpatient center in Erlanger, KY within the greater Cincinnati metro on a per diem PRN basis. Shifts available to cover are Mon-Fri business hours and Saturday half days. 

Responsibilities

- Assures personal compliance with licensing, certification and accrediting bodies.

- Evaluates and treats Center patients in accordance with Concentra's medical model. 

- Completes all medical record documentation prior to end of shift. 

- Calls client representatives following employee treatment for initial injury and/or at any significant change in status.

- Calls patients to ensure their well-being as needed following center visits.

- In the absence of Center Medical Director, provides guidance to other medical personnel and center colleagues.

Qualifications

- Current unrestricted medical license in state of jurisdiction 

- Unrestricted DEA license for state of jurisdiction

- DOT/FMCSA certification - active or willing to get during credentialing

- Must be eligible to participate in Medicare

- Two to five years of experience in primary care, occupational medicine, urgent care, or an emergency medicine setting is preferred
