Description

The Accounting and Office Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the finance team by performing various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping, possess excellent attention to detail, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.


Primary Job Duties

  • Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes.
  • Operate computers programmed with accounting software to record, store, and analyze information.ย 
  • Debit, credit, and total accounts on computer spreadsheets and databases, using Microsoft Excel and Quickbooks accounting software.
  • Classify, record, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records, using journals and ledgers or computers.
  • Access computerized financial information to answer general questions as well as those related to specific accounts.
  • Operate 10-key calculators, keyboard, scanners, and copy machines to perform calculations and produce documents.
  • Reconcile or note and report discrepancies found in records.
  • Perform general office duties, such as filing, and handling routine correspondence.
  • Receive, record, and bank cash, checks, and vouchers.
  • Match order forms with invoices and record the necessary information.

Requirements

- High School Diploma
- Must have Proficiency in Microsoft Excel software
- General knowledge of bookkeeping
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
