Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee and optimize day-to-day accounting operations across a growing restaurant and hospitality organization. This role will be responsible for managing core accounting functions, ensuring financial accuracy, supporting cash flow management, and driving process improvements to increase efficiency across the department.

The ideal candidate will bring strong accounting expertise, hands-on restaurant or hospitality industry experience, and a proactive approach to building scalable processes and operational excellence.

This role may be performed in-person or remotely.

Essential Functions
  • Manage daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and accounting standards
  • Oversee account reconciliations, month-end close processes, and general ledger maintenance
  • Prepare and manage cash forecasting, cash flow reporting, and related financial analyses
  • Review and reconcile bank accounts, credit card transactions, vendor accounts, and balance sheet accounts
  • Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements and reporting packages
  • Partner cross-functionally with operations and leadership teams to support financial decision-making
  • Ensure proper accounting controls and procedures are in place to maintain data integrity and compliance
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and optimize accounting workflows
  • Develop, document, and implement department-wide SOPs to streamline processes and support scalability
  • Support audits and ensure accurate documentation and reporting
  • Assist with ad hoc financial projects and operational initiatives as needed
Requirements Qualifications
  • Minimum 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Restaurant365 (R365) experience is required
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations, cash management, and month-end close processes
  • Prior restaurant and/or hospitality accounting experience
  • Experience helping streamline or optimize accounting department operations in a growth environment

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize competing deadlines, and manage multiple responsibilities
