Job description

Experience Without Limits. Come shape the future of brand experience.

At Jack Morton, we create, and build, head-turning, smile-inducing, impact driving brand experiences. We exist to redefine what experiential can achieve, helping clients unlock the full value of experiences.

That takes a team that's bold, curious, and acts as one - building on ideas, pushing boundaries, and showing up for each other. Here, you'll do your best work, grow fast, and collaborate across clients, disciplines, and global teams to bring new ideas to life.

This is a place where curiosity drives what's next, boldness raises the bar, and we win together. Where ownership is expected, egos are left at the door, and the work reflects the people behind it.

Experience without limits โ€” in your work, your growth, and your impact.

**Must be able to accommodate a hybrid onsite schedule in Addison, IL**

At Jack, we don't just design environments, we build moments that move people. From immersive exhibits to live and virtual experiences, we bring ideas off the screen and into the real world.

We're looking for a CAD Detailer (Trade Shows & Events) to join our Addison, IL team and turn bold creative concepts into precise, production-ready drawings. You'll be the bridge between design and fabrication, translating vision into something that can actually be built, scaled, and experienced.

What you'll be doing

โ€ข Partner with Designers to ensure concepts are not just compellingโ€”but buildable
โ€ข Translate 3D ideas into detailed control drawings for fabrication partners
โ€ข Collaborate with Estimating on detailing hours and smart fabrication solutions
โ€ข Work closely with Project Management to keep custom builds on track
โ€ข Coordinate with fabricators and vendors to ensure seamless execution
โ€ข Provide graphic elevations and support staging, prep, and shipping needs
โ€ข Maintain clean, accurate digital libraries of parts and components
โ€ข Ensure all work meets ADA requirements, building codes, and show regulations
โ€ข Bring precision, problem-solving, and ownership to every detail

If you can do all that, you have what it takes. It might help ifโ€ฆ

โ€ข You have 4+ years of experience in exhibit detailing or similar production environments
โ€ข You're highly proficient in AutoCAD
โ€ข You understand drafting, dimensioning, tolerancing, and how things actually get built
โ€ข You're organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities
โ€ข You communicate clearly and collaborate across teams
โ€ข You think critically, solve problems, and bring ideas forward with confidence
โ€ข You have working knowledge of materials and fabrication techniques
โ€ข You're curious and open to learning new tools, processes, and technologies

Last but not least, we believe in diversity, equity and inclusion.

Jack Morton is an equal opportunity employer; we strongly value diversity at our companies. We do not discriminate on race, religion, color, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, age, marital status, veteran status, or any other basis prohibited by law.
