Job Summary:
Super Micro Computer, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Global Trade Compliance Analyst to support the company's global trade compliance operations with a primary focus on SAP GTS, trade automation, trade data governance, and compliance process optimization. This role will support implementation and enhancement of automated trade compliance controls, ERP integrations, restricted party screening, classification workflows, and global compliance processes across Supermicro's worldwide operations.
The role will also support export classification activities and customer due diligence/KYC reviews related to AI infrastructure, advanced computing, semiconductor technologies, and global customer transactions. The Senior Global Trade Compliance Analyst will work closely with IT, engineering, logistics, legal, sales, and operations teams to improve scalability, operational efficiency, and compliance automation while supporting Supermicro's rapid global growth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
SAP GTS & Trade Automation
  • Support implementation, enhancement, and optimization of SAP GTS and global trade automation initiatives.
  • Partner with IT, business teams, and external vendors to improve trade compliance workflows, screening controls, and ERP integrations.
  • Support automation of restricted party screening, export controls, classification workflows, and compliance reporting processes.
  • Assist with trade data governance, master data management, and compliance-related system controls to improve data accuracy and audit readiness.
  • Support testing, validation, troubleshooting, and process improvement activities related to trade compliance systems and automation tools.
  • Develop dashboards, reporting metrics, and operational monitoring tools to support compliance visibility and management reporting.

Export Classification & Regulatory Support
  • Perform ECCN classifications for hardware, software, and technology under the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
  • Review technical specifications, engineering documentation, and product architecture to support accurate export classifications.
  • Maintain export classification databases and support classification governance within ERP and trade compliance systems.
  • Support export license determinations, restricted party screening reviews, and regulatory compliance activities.

Customer Due Diligence / KYC Support
  • Support customer, end-user, distributor, and transaction due diligence reviews.
  • Conduct Know Your Customer (KYC) and enhanced due diligence reviews for high-risk transactions and sensitive geographies.
  • Review customer ownership structures, end-use statements, and transaction documentation to identify potential compliance risks and red flags.
  • Support documentation, audit trails, and compliance approval workflows for global transactions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with IT, engineering, logistics, sales, supply chain, and operations teams to support trade compliance processes and automation initiatives.
  • Provide trade compliance guidance and support related to system controls, classifications, screening, and due diligence activities.
  • Support audits, internal investigations, regulatory inquiries, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in international trade, supply chain, business, information systems, engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

Experience
  • 8+ years of experience in global trade compliance, trade automation, SAP GTS, or export compliance operations.
  • Strong experience supporting ERP systems, trade compliance automation, or global trade process improvements.
  • Experience supporting export classifications and customer due diligence/KYC processes in a global technology or manufacturing environment.

Skills
  • Strong knowledge of EAR, OFAC sanctions regulations, and global trade compliance processes.
  • Experience with SAP GTS, ERP systems, restricted party screening tools, and trade automation platforms.
  • Strong analytical, systems, and process improvement skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced global environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting AI infrastructure, semiconductors, GPUs, advanced computing, or server technologies.
  • Experience with trade data governance, workflow automation, and compliance reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with customer due diligence, KYC reviews, and high-risk transaction reviews.
  • Professional certifications such as CUSECO, CES, or similar trade compliance certifications.

Salary Range
$100,000 - $155,000
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
