Job description

Merestone Consultants, Inc. is seeking a skilled Civil Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting civil engineering and land surveying projects through drafting & design tasks. This position requires proficiency in various design software and a strong understanding of civil engineering and land surveying principles. The Civil Technician will collaborate with engineers and surveyors to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and accurately.

Duties

  • Assist in the preparation of detailed drawings and plans using AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Carlson.
  • Create schematics and technical documentation to support project development.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure designs meet specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct site visits to gather data for design modifications and project assessments.
  • Support the construction process by providing technical assistance and resolving design-related issues on-site.
  • Maintain organized records of project documentation, including revisions and updates.
