Job description

Everforth ECS is seeking a System Administrator - Senior to work in Fairfax, Virginia. Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain enterprise systems to ensure operational availability and stability.
  • Implement and manage system configurations and updates to maintain compliance and security.
  • Monitor system performance metrics and health indicators to proactively address potential issues.
  • Lead incident response and resolution efforts to minimize downtime and maintain service integrity.
  • Enforce STIG and cybersecurity compliance requirements across all systems.
  • Collaborate with network, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams to support enterprise continuity.
  • Support RMF sustainment and change management processes to ensure compliance.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for system administration processes and procedures.

Required Qualifications
  • Clearance: Secret Eligible required
  • S. Citizenship required
  • DoD 8140.03 Compliance: DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) Work Role 451-System Administrator at the Advanced proficiency level
  • Certifications (one or more required): SecurityX / CASP+, CCNP Security, CCSP, FITSP-O, GFACT
  • Education: Masters or Ph.D in [Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering]
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience administering enterprise systems within DoD or Federal DoDIN-connected environments
  • Proven experience in system updates, configuration management, and patch compliance
  • Experience in performance monitoring and incident resolution for secure enterprise services
  • Familiarity with RMF sustainment and change management processes
