Job Summary:

They are seeking a Systems Administrator to manage, monitor, and improve IT infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and efficiency across systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
• Administer, monitor, and maintain servers, networks, and cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and system access across platforms
• Implement and maintain system security measures, including patches, updates, and backups
• Troubleshoot and resolve system, network, and application issues in a timely manner
• Develop and maintain documentation for systems, configurations, and processes
• Collaborate with engineering and IT teams to deploy new tools and infrastructure upgrades
• Automate routine administrative tasks to improve operational efficiency
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a System Administrator or similar role
• Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux server environments
• Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls)
• Familiarity with monitoring and configuration management tools
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Active Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI Access (TS/SCI)
Preferred:
• Experience supporting engineering or development teams
• Knowledge of containerization technologies
• Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or AWS SysOps Administrator
