Job description

RGNext employees execute and report on theater and strategic offensive and defensive ballistic missile testing and support space situational awareness operations and experiments, using a wide array of highly sophisticated radar, telemetry and optical sensors to meet the needs of our nation in defending the United States and its interests.


This position is located at the RTS Operations Center in Huntsville, Alabama.


What You Will Do:
  • Install, configure and troubleshoot end user and network devices such as computers, laptops, printers, and other hardware.
  • Deploy and configure end user and network devices via MECM and PXE deployments, to include computers and laptops and any other applicable hardware.
  • Install and troubleshoot third-party software on end user devices such as Adobe Reader, Microsoft Office, and browsers.
  • Provide touch labor services - including but not limited to installation, troubleshooting, software, security, vendor patches and repair of physical hardware.
  • Apply extensive knowledge of a variety of Cyber Security field concepts, practices, and procedures to ensure the secure integration and operation of enclave systems.
  • Process accounts to include password resets, enable/disable, and overall account maintenance functions.

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, related discipline, or experience in lieu of education.
  • Five (5) or more years of directly related Information Technology experience.
  • Security+, CySA+, GICSP, or similar certification meeting DoD 8140.01 / DoD 8570.01 baseline certification for IAT Level II required prior to employment start date and required to maintain certification thereafter.
  • CE (Computer Environment) Linux+, Server+ or similar certification meeting DoD 8140.01 / DoD 8570.01 baseline certification for IAT Level II required no later than 3 months after employment start date and required to maintain certification thereafter.
  • Ability to be self-organized and self-motivated to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient with Windows 10, 11 and Microsoft related applications such as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively evaluate and fix STIG settings on an end user device including but not limited to a workstation, laptop, or printer.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively use PowerShell, VBS, or other scripting language is a plus.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required. U.S. citizen is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • The flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or on weekends to support specific project or mission requirements.
