Let&rsquo;s energize the future together.<br><br>LEAF River, a subsidiary of New Jersey Resources is seeking an Operator responsible for operating gas handling, leaching system, and auxiliary equipment to maintain required pressures and flow rates in high pressure natural gas and water/brine systems (up to 3,500 psig).<br><br>Major Responsibilities<br><br>&bull; Start, stop, and regulate gas handling and leaching equipment to maintain required pressures and flow rates for pipeline, storage and leaching operations.<br><br>&bull; Perform required inspections of all gas handling and leaching equipment and other systems during assigned shift.<br><br>&bull; Identify, document and report major malfunctions, abnormal SCADA readings or system alerts.<br><br>&bull; Act as the main contact during an emergency, coordinate safety shutdowns and notify field technicians as well as local authorities.<br><br>&bull; Monitors operating data on SCADA and other electronic devices to operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner.<br><br>&bull; Prepare required reports.<br><br>&bull; Work with field technicians, management, and outside customers to schedule pipeline deliveries or receipts.<br><br>&bull; Adjust equipment to maintain maximum operating efficiency of the gas handling and leaching facilities.<br><br>&bull; Operate and maintain valves and valve operators of various types and sizes throughout plant and pipeline system.<br><br>&bull; Assist and advise other personnel with technical and non-technical as requested.<br><br>&bull; Perform shift handovers to update oncoming Operator on current operating conditions, issues encountered, and unusual or abnormal operating conditions.<br><br>&bull; Participate in Company-sponsored technical training and cross-training to improve knowledge and skills.<br><br>&bull; Requires \"On Call\" as required by area supervisor.
