The Quality Assurance Co-Op is accountable to support the needs of Holland operations. This role is responsible to perform the local and corporate responsibilities listed below. This role will work directly with the Treatment US & Asia Quality Manager to support the business objectives. This role will also work in collaboration with all members of the Holland team in an effort to support the Quality Assurance related needs of the business.
Core Responsibilities and Tasks:
  • Live our culture and exemplify our Growth Enabling Behaviors to be highly enabled to deliver, highly empowered to succeed, and highly accountable to lead
  • Assist with the Quality XPS Bronze/Silver/Gold certifications
  • Assist with Final Inspections as necessary
  • Develop Standard Work as necessary
  • Perform final Quality paperwork archiving
  • Assist in monitoring/managing the total number of open NCRs on a weekly basis
  • Assist in performing ISO 9001 internal audits to audit schedule
  • Assist in performing requested changes to ISO documentation
  • Assist in responding to manufacturing production QA related needs
  • Assist the QA team as necessary
  • Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

Skill Requirements:
  • Self-motivated personality preferred
  • Experience in manufacturing preferred
  • Experience with manufacturing practices preferred
  • Ability to problem solve, develop, and effectively communicate solutions preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, and Excel required

Education and Experience Requirements:
  • In-process BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Computer Engineering preferred
  • Experience in Manufacturing or related field preferred
  • Experience in Lean and 5S practices preferred

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to sit, stand, hear, and see on a constant basis.
  • Must be able to walk, write, and type on a frequent basis.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
  • Must be able to climb and descend stairs.
  • Must be able to bend, carry, reach, push, and pull on an occasional basis.
  • Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing.
  • May work indoors and outdoors as needed. Exposure to heat up to 120 degrees and cold to 0 degrees.
  • May work in areas where noise level is such that hearing protection is required.
  • May be exposed to varying amounts of dust and dirt.
  • Work surfaces may include concrete.
  • Employee must be able to operate a computer and communicate via telephone.
  • Some travel to other locations, meetings and/or seminars is required.
