Job description

M&K Truck Centers is a premier commercial truck dealership specializing in Mack and Volvo truck sales.

We’re looking for a skilled and detailed‑driven IT helpdesk technician who would be primarily responsible in assisting users request via phone, email & chat and on occasion in person, some travel to remote locations will be required.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Log all requests in the IT Service desk ticketing system

  • Place orders for IT supplies as needed for end users

  • Resolve end users issues either by walking them through the steps or remoting into their desktop

  • Escalate tickets to the on call field technician for each site if needed

  • Responsible for creating new accounts in Active Directory, Exchange & other software as need and passing that information on to the appropriate individuals.

  • Continually monitor SLA’s and run reports as needed on open tickets

  • Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures

  • Take on assignments and provide an updated status at regular conference calls

  • Lifting up to 50 lb's

Education and/or Experience

  • 1-5 years of Help Desk, Desktop Support, or IT Support experience.

  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Office, and common business applications.

  • Experience configuring, imaging, deploying, and troubleshooting PCs, laptops, and related hardware.

  • Understanding of networking fundamentals and the ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues.

  • Experience with Active Directory user account management; Exchange administration experience is a plus.

  • Associate degree in Information Technology or related field preferred; CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications are a plus.
