About this opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior IT Support Specialist to join our growing IT team. The candidate will provide reliable day-to-day technical support to our staff while developing the skills and knowledge needed to grow into more advanced IT and infrastructure roles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide first-line support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.

  • Manage user accounts in Active Directory and Entra ID, including onboarding, offboarding, and password resets.

  • Support Microsoft 365 apps such as Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.

  • Prepare and deploy workstations, maintain asset records, and assist with basic security tasks like MFA and compliance checks.

  • Escalate complex issues with clear documentation and help improve internal support resources and processes.

Location and Schedule
  • This is a full-time, office-based position in a modern, cozy environment in our office in Troy, Michigan.

  • Our standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, promoting a healthy work-life balance.

Skills & QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Entra ID.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across hardware, software, and connectivity issues.

  • Clear communication skills and ability to support non-technical users professionally.
