Job Summary:
NEOGOV is a company that provides software solutions for government agencies, and they are seeking a PC/Network Technician to support their Information Systems department. The role involves installing, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining computer hardware, networks, and related equipment for the City of Alexandria.
Responsibilities:
• install, diagnose, repair, replace and maintain computer hardware, network, network devices, cabling and telephone equipment and peripherals for the City.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Vocational/Technical training with emphasis in computer technology, computer repair, or computer programming
• Two (2) years of experience in hardware and software diagnostics and repair
• Any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Will be required to obtain a valid State of Louisiana driver’s license at time of appointment and maintain throughout employment for this classification
