Job description

Our client, a leading player in the eCommerce industry, is seeking a Computer Hardware Technician to join their team. As a Computer Hardware Technician, you will be part of the Data Center technical support team, ensuring the smooth operation of data center components. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities, which will align successfully with the organization.
Hardware Technician
3-24 Month Contract, potential conversion 
Florence, KY (onsite)

$26/HR + Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance, 401K Saving Options & Weekly Pay 
Schedules: Day Shift:
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST or Night Shift: 5:00 PM - 1:00 AM EST
What's the Job?

  • Test and repair data center components using various testing rigs and jigs.
  • Record test results in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Receive parts, maintain inventory, and check-out parts as needed.
  • Diagnose hardware and network problems followed by physical repairs.
  • Participate in team meetings for metric analysis and achievement of daily/weekly goals.
  • Ability to safely lift and move equipment, parts, and materials as required throughout the shift.
  • Must be comfortable working in a warehouse/data center environment that requires passing through metal detectors and security screening procedures when entering and exiting the facility.
