JBS Maintenance Technician:
JBS is seeking an hourly Maintenance Team Member! Hourly Pay negotiable – starts at $23.50 an hour and goes up based on experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform building maintenance duties and specific tasks such as repairing conveyors, gearboxes, or hydraulic systems as assigned by the supervisor
  • Preventive maintenance and repairs on the mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Troubleshot machinery quickly and effectively
  • Preventive maintenance and repairs to Rendering equipment, such as conveyors, gearboxes, augers, and pumps
  • Complete all tasks in the safest and most efficient manner
  • Be experienced and knowledgeable in high-speed manufacturing and packaging equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, valves, cylinders, case formers, labeling equipment, fillers, and conveyors. Knowledge of welding (S/S, Mig, Tig) is a plus. Your skills will directly support efficient production and quality standards.
  • Day-to-day maintenance and repair of equipment.
  • Perform Labeling and Tagging of systems and/or checks for verifications
  • Troubleshoot and repair high-speed food processing and packaging equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical problems on production equipment
  • Comply with all safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
  • Support and manage all computer/network components, including servers, switches, cabling, and desktop systems at assigned locations
  • Program Cisco Switches for Local Area Network
  • Document Local Area Network at assigned location(s)
  • Document and maintain “Standard Operating Procedures” for site-specific technologies in use at the facility.
  • Fundamental understanding of VLANS 
  • Work with end users and propose new hardware and software solutions to support the business.
  • Test all hardware and software modifications before they are introduced into production.
  • Provide hardware and software diagnostics for network, hardware, and software issues.
  • Manage technology projects in compliance with IT standards
  • Provide hardware and network support for “Production Floor” computer systems.
  • Supporting all printer functions at assigned locations
  • Perform related tasks as required, Data Maintenance
  • Facilities Maintenance to include: mowing, trimming, painting, switcher truck maintenance, boilers, pumps, gates, storage racks, and storm water maintenance. 
 
 Qualifications 
  • Climbing, including ladders, lifting, working with a variety of hand and power tools, shop machines, and tools.
