Server Hardware Technician

Location: Florence, KY
Pay: $22-$26/hour (Based on Experience)

100% On-Site | Full-Time | 12-Hour Shifts

Please Note: This is a 100% on-site position in Florence, KY. Remote or hybrid work is not available.

Schedule: This position works 12-hour day or night shifts on a rotating schedule that includes weekdays and weekends. 

Reliable transportation is required to ensure consistent attendance for all scheduled shifts.

Kelly Engineering is hiring Diagnostic Technicians to join an industry-leading technology manufacturer supporting enterprise server systems. This is a hands-on technical role where you'll diagnose, repair, and validate cutting-edge server hardware used in data center environments.
This is NOT a help desk or desktop support position. You'll be working directly with enterprise server hardware, identifying root causes of failures, replacing components, and ensuring systems are fully functional before deployment.
What You'll Do
As a Diagnostic Technician, you'll:
  • Diagnose and repair enterprise server hardware
  • Troubleshoot component-level failures on complex computer systems
  • Replace and validate hardware including:
    • CPUs
    • DDR4 & DDR5 Memory
    • PCIe Cards
    • NVMe, SSD, SATA & HDD Storage Devices
    • Motherboards and other server components
  • Perform functional testing and system validation
  • Identify hardware compatibility and performance issues
  • Troubleshoot networking and server connectivity problems
  • Document repairs, testing, and diagnostic findings
  • Work closely with manufacturing and engineering teams to resolve technical issues
We're Looking For Someone Who Has
? 2+ years of hands-on computer hardware troubleshooting experience
? Experience repairing or diagnosing enterprise servers or similar computer systems
? Strong understanding of:
  • Computer hardware architecture
