As an IT Operations PC Support Technician, you will contributeย to Wenger Corporationโ€™s strategy to provide an exceptional customer experience byย providing technical support and assistance to end-users for computer hardware, software, and network-related issues. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical problems, installing and configuring computer systems, and providing training and support to users. You may also be involved in maintaining and updating computer systems, performing system upgrades, and ensuring the security and integrity of data.

At a minimum, you will need:ย 

  • 2-year technical degree in related field; or equivalent work experience with the internal workings of computer hardware, LAN communications, low-level software, end-user applications and familiarity with computer facilities, technology, and procedures

As an IT Operations PC Support Technician, a typical day may include:ย 

  • Maintaining and supporting PCs throughout company operations and business units
  • Providing end-user support deploying new workstations; upgrading existing workstations; troubleshooting end-user technical and hardware related issues; and providing end-user training or documentation
  • Providing on-call support for PC and technical infrastructure issues
  • Identifying, evaluating, developing, and implementing technical infrastructure solutions that support the business of Wenger Corporation
  • Maintaining documentation of all technical infrastructures, including but not limited to software licenses, end-user procedures, configuration documents, and technical diagrams
  • Developing, maintaining, and executing backup and recovery procedures in case of equipment failure
  • Maintaining and supporting consistent technical infrastructure throughout all operating units
