Job description

CentraCare is looking for a hardworking individual that knows healthcare information systems or wants to learn about them to join our IS Desktop Support Health System Team. This position provides technical support in the area of Desktop Support to the Information Systems Department. In this role you will train new staff on computer hardware. The position sets new policy standards of how to load and maintain desktop software, printers, and other computer devices. 

Schedule:

  • Full-time | 80 hours every two weeks | Willmar
  • Day shift | 8-hour shifts | 8am-4:30pm or 7am-3:30pm
  • After hours on-call rotation begins after 6 months from date of hire
  • Travel to other CentraCare sites on occasion 

Pay and Benefits:

  • Starting pay begins at $27.25 per hour; exact wage determined by years of related experience
    • Pay range:  $27.25- $40.88 per hour

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required
  • Associate's degree or two years of specialized computer training preferred
  • 1 year of computer support experience required
  • 2+ years of work experience with personal computers preferred
  • A valid MN driver's license and a driving record in good standing may be required
  • Minimum amount of insurance liability coverage may be required
