Job Title: (SCCM/MECM) Network Engineer Location: Columbia, SC Hybrid, 3 Days in Office and 2 Days Remote per Week Employment Type: Contract (C2C / W2) Interview Process: One Round of Virtual Interviews Duration: 12 months Experience Required: 06+ Years Candidate location: Candidate must be a CURRENT SC resident. No relocation allowed. Project Scope: We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft SCCM/MECM, Intune/MDM, and Windows Server environments.

The role involves managing enterprise infrastructure, automating administrative tasks, ensuring system stability, and supporting network security and disaster recovery initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Non-Technical: Communicate effectively with technical teams and leadership Provide feedback on product improvements and system enhancements Manage multiple tasks and provide regular status updates Collaborate with teams to resolve issues and improve processes Maintain accurate documentation and update ticketing systems Ensure excellent customer support and timely issue resolution Technical: Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software/network issues Monitor systems and recommend improvements Install, configure, and maintain servers and applications Perform upgrades, patching, and system optimization Support disaster recovery and failover processes Automate tasks using PowerShell scripting Conduct root cause analysis and implement solutions Mentor junior team members and support project delivery Required Skills & Experience: 5+ years of experience with SCCM/MECM and Intune/MDM 3+ years of experience with GCC High Tenant 5+ years of experience with Pub1075 compliance / audits 5+ years of experience in Change Management 3+ years of experience with Active Directory (RBAC & user access) 5+ years of experience with LAN / VLAN networking 5+ years of experience with VMware virtualization Strong experience in PowerShell scripting & automation Experience working directly for a State Agency Preferred Skills: STIG Hardening Hybrid Cloud Architecture Hyperconverged Infrastructure Shell scripting Additional Skills: Windows Server (2019 / 2022 / 2025) MS SQL & Clustering .NET-based web applications support Strong communication and organizational skills Understanding of networking, storage, and OS fundamentals Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience) Preferred: Industry certifications (MCP, MCSE, etc.)
