Job description

Overview
The CAD Drafter will assist in the preparation of design documents and drawings during the execution of a variety of projects involving mechanical, electrical and civil/structual components for natural gas, hydrocarbon and industrial projects. Primary responsibilities include producing two-dimensional and three-dimensional construction drawings including plans, sections, elevations, details, schematics and bills of material, from models, red lines and sketches under the direction of an engineer or designer. This position is located at our office in Derwent, Ohio.
Responsibilities
  • Complete redline drawings accurately and timely
  • Follow company or customer CAD standards
  • Scanning, copying and plotting drawings
  • Preparing as-built drawings based on field red-line markups
  • Drafting moderate P&IDs, PFDs, Isometrics, schematics, one-line diagrams, etc.
  • Drafting moderate orthographics, annotate drawings, details, section cuts, etc.
  • Drafting standard drawings, coversheets, notes and legend, etc.
  • Assuring that work is completed accurately and within project deadlines
  • Completes peer reviews of drawings

Qualifications
  • Requires an Associate degree or higher in Drafting & Design, Engineering Technology or related field
  • Good understanding of AutoCAD, Acrobat or Bluebeam, Word and Excel
  • Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team with direct oversight from a senior team member.
