Job description

Overview The Graphics Engineer Web Designer develops and produces custom 2D/3D models and animations to support briefings, training materials, and technical visualizations tailored for the US Army. Responsibilities ยท Create dynamic motion graphics, animated sequences, and visual effects that enhance multimedia presentations and digital communications. ยท Design visually cohesive products-such as posters, infographics, and print materials-that integrate 3D renderings and models for both internal and external distribution.

ยท Translate complex technical data into accurate and engaging visual content, including schematics, system overviews, and operational workflows. ยท Collaborate with communication teams to storyboard, design, and execute animation projects that align with CPE IEW&S branding and messaging standards. ยท Format and optimize graphic and animated content for use across various platforms, including print, PowerPoint, web, and video.

ยท Ensure all visual media products comply with Army and CPE IEW&S branding, security, and accessibility requirements ยท Supports the production of awards, including but not limited to the matting and framing of various products ยท Supports various photography requirements for events, conferences, and meetings Qualifications Required: ยท Bachelors Degree - graphic design, 3D computer animation, product design, 3D visual effects production and 3D computer game design ยท A minimum of ten (10) years' experience in the field of graphics, videography, and/or other design-relevant experience required, with 5 years of experience in the field of 3D design or other related fields ยท Associate's degree in graphic design, 3D computer animation, product design, 3D visual effects production, and 3D computer game design, and a minimum of seven (7) years' experience in the field of 3D design or other related fields. ยท Demonstrated ability to design and develop new 3D concepts, review and improve existing designs and products, and create documentation for concepts. ยท Proven ability to create various design layouts and concepts for projects with CAD tools.

ยท Proficient in the latest 3D modelling tools and technology, including but not limited to SketchUp, Autodesk, and Altium Designer. ยท Demonstrated an understanding of video game design, forensic animation, architectural modelling, film production, marketing and advertising, and 3D printing. ยท Possesses knowledge of multiple PC and Macintosh application packages, including word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, and drawing packages.

ยท Back up support to website development and maintenance. ยท Proficiency in industry-standard design software like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc. ยท Portfolio of work may be requested ยท Secret Clearance Salary Range: $140,000 - $163,000 The above salary range represents a general guidline.
