Adjunct Faculty - MDES 211: 2D Animation.

Digital 2D animation techniques with an emphasis on using animation principles to create expressive and communicative movement. Students will experiment with various styles of 2D computer animation and gain a deeper understanding of 2D animation techniques and software.

Education and Experience

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A master's degree that demonstrates expertise appropriate for teaching a course/s listed in this announcement OR a 4-year professional degree (BFA) in art or design and equivalent expertise, training and experience, with an appropriate record of professional creative achievement
  • Professional portfolio demonstrating skills and experience in the curricular area
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MFAdegree or its equivalent in an appropriate discipline
  • College level teaching experience
  • Significant professional creative practice
