Job description

Company Overview:
Strive Pharmacy is a personalized compounding pharmacy built on a simple conviction: medicine should fit the patient, not the other way around. We started Strive because we believed the pharmaceutical industry was overdue for a more human approach-one that prioritizes individualized care, clinical nuance, and genuine partnership with patients and providers.
Compounding gives us the tools to do that. Every formulation we prepare is built to the specific needs of a specific person, and every interaction we have is guided by that same commitment to personalized care.
We're growing, and we're looking for people who share that conviction. If you're ready to be part of a pharmacy that takes the work seriously and the people even more seriously, we'd like to meet you.
Mission:
Strive exists to disrupt an industry long overdue for a more personal approach to care. We put the human element at the center of everything: every formulation, every patient interaction, every provider partnership. We're not just a compounding pharmacy. We're a team on a mission to change what personalized healthcare looks and feels like.
Location: Gilbert, Arizona
Position Type: Full-time
Schedule: 1st Shift; Monday - Friday; 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Compensation Range: $20 - $22 per hour
Position Overview:
The Material Handler / Driver plays a vital role in Strive Pharmacy's daily supply chain and logistics operations. This dual-function role is responsible for receiving, organizing, and managing inventory (raw ingredients, medical supplies, and packaging materials) in the facility, as well as executing safe, timely local deliveries of compounded medications and clinical supplies. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to maintaining strict quality and temperature-control standards for pharmacy items.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Receiving & Verification: Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against packing slips, and inspect items for damages or discrepancies.
  • Put Away & Replenishment: Efficiently and accurately put away received items in designated storage locations. Load and unload deliveries of boxes, ice pallets, and other warehouses and pack out supplies.
  • Workflow Support: Ensure packing lines are supplied with sufficient materials to maintain a consistent and efficient workflow. Assist with shipping pack out processes, including boxing and packing.
  • Quality & Compliance: Ensure inventory items meet quality standards and comply with applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve inventory control processes and contribute to the implementation of best practices.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members, pharmacists, and other departments to support smooth operational flow.
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ year of experience in warehouse operations and/or inventory control, preferably in a pharmaceutical or compounding pharmacy environment.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling inventory and documentation.
  • Familiarity with inventory management software and systems.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Forklift certification
  • Experience with warehouse management software (WMS)
  • Experience with NetSuite
Work Environment:
This position is primarily based in an on-site work environment, operating predominantly indoors in a collaborative setting with peers and pharmacists. The role requires regular physical activity, including frequent standing and walking throughout the facility, as well as frequent use of hands for handling materials, documentation, and daily operational tasks.
The ability to lift and move items weighing up to 75 lbs. is required. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
Hourly Pay Rate
$20-$22 USD
