Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in healthcare administration, business, compliance, or related field preferred

  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare compliance, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, or related field

  • Knowledge of AHCA regulations, behavioral healthcare standards, healthcare compliance requirements including joint commission and DCF standards

  • Experience conducting audits, preparing for inspections, and managing corrective action plans

  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and analytical skills

  • Ability to communicate compliance requirements effectively across all levels of the organization

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with leadership teams


Specific Areas of Responsibility:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain compliance programs, policies, and procedures aligned with regulatory requirements and organizational standards
  • Monitor compliance with applicable healthcare regulations, licensing requirements, accreditation standards, and internal policies
  • Conduct routine audits, compliance reviews, and risk assessments across departments and facilities
  • Prepare teams for regulatory surveys, inspections, audits, and external reviews
  • Track corrective action plans and ensure timely completion of identified compliance opportunities
  • Review documentation, processes, and workflows to identify areas of risk and improvement
  • Provide guidance and education to leadership and staff regarding compliance expectations and best practices
  • Assist with policy development, revisions, and ongoing compliance training initiatives
  • Maintain compliance records, reports, and documentation related to audits and investigations
  • Collaborate with clinical, operations, nursing, HR, and leadership to strengthen organizational compliance
  • Support incident reviews, investigations, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Stay informed of changes in healthcare regulations and communicate impacts
