Travel: up to 25%

MSHS Pacific Power Group is seeking an ambitious Quality Systems & Compliance Manager to lead our enterprise Quality Management System supporting ISO 9001:2015, OEM requirements, and government (military) contracts across our field service and remanufacturing operations.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a quality professional who is ready to step into a leadership position with ownership of our quality management system while leading a team and partnering with executive leadership. The successful candidate will oversee quality documentation, compliance programs, audits, customer deliverables, and continuous improvement initiatives while managing direct reports and supporting Quality Control Specialists across multiple workshop locations.
What You'll Do
Quality Management System
  • Maintain and continuously improve the company's ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System
  • Develop, maintain, and control Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and controlled documents
  • Coordinate and conduct internal quality audits
  • Support external and certification audits
  • Manage corrective and preventive action (CAPA) programs
  • Maintain quality records and documentation
Government & Contract Compliance
Develop and maintain:
  • Quality Assurance Plans
  • Inspection Plans
  • Compliance Procedures
  • Contract Deliverables
  • Technical Documentation Packages

Support Military Sealift Command (MSC) and future government programs requiring formal quality documentation and reporting by translating customer specifications, OEM manuals, technical requirements, and government contract requirements into:
  • Work Instructions
  • Inspection Checklists
  • Test Procedures
  • Acceptance Criteria
  • Technical Documentation Packages
Continuous Improvement
  • Partner with operations leadership to improve quality and reduce rework
  • Standardize procedures across multiple locations
  • Improve documentation and workflow efficiency
  • Lead process improvement and error-proofing initiatives
Customer Deliverables
Coordinate customer deliverables including:
  • Overhaul Reports
  • Inspection Reports
  • Condition Found Reports
  • Quality Plans
  • Technical Documentation Packages
Leadership
  • Supervise and mentor quality personnel and other direct reports
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Work closely with executive leadership and operational teams to achieve quality objectives
Required Qualifications
  • 3-7 years of experience in one or more of the following:
    • Quality Management
    • Manufacturing
    • Engineering Support
    • Compliance
    • Document Control
    • Continuous Improvement
  • Experience working within an ISO 9001 Quality Management System
  • Strong technical writing and documentation skills
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with DI-011 documentation requirements and CDRL A007 standards ISO Internal Auditor training or certification
  • Quality Engineering experience
  • Marine, industrial, manufacturing, or defense industry experience
  • SharePoint experience
  • Microsoft Power Platform experience
  • ERP system experience
