Job Title: Technical Compliance Engineer

Location: Houston, TX

Onsite/ Remote: Day 1 Onsite at customer location 

Provide engineering support to the Gas Power Technical Compliance (GPTC) organization for Project TRS Compliance Engineer for HD New Units, HD Services (CM&U), Aero New Units and Services (CM&U) and for All Contractual Services & Outages role.

Job Description: -

  • Compliance analysis: vendor integration and resolving Compliance issues and mentoring stakeholders on necessary technical regulatory requirements and information (Americas, EMEA and Asia countries).
  • Prepare information and conduct compliance KOM with stakeholders, Preparation of Compliance specifications, plan and associated deliverables. Third Party Co-ordination as required per the project scopeLiaison support for project engineering and design team for Compliance questions and clarifications.
  • Liaison support for project engineering and design team for Compliance questions and clarifications.
  • Review and validation of compliance documents such as & not limited to ATEX/IECEx/CSA/CUTR, LVD, EMC, PED Declaration of Conformity (DoC), Declaration of Incorporation (DoI), EC-Type examination certificate, Pressure Test Reports, Material Test Reports (MTR), Welding procedure, Welder qualification, Hardware Marking verifications.

PREREQUISITES:-

  • Experience on power plant (GT, ST and generator)
  • Competencies and experience in technical regulations and associated standards
  • Experience in interaction with CE Notify Bodies and regulatory authorities
  • Experience in working on TR&S assessments and documentation collection reviews.
  • Experience in designing controls systems
  • Experience with ERP systems for parts compliance
  • Experience in designing equipment placed in Hazardous area.

Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering

Exp 7 to10 years
