Position Overview

The Complex HR Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources function across multiple Zachry Hotels properties. This role helps coordinate and execute key HR programs including onboarding, recruitment support, employee records management, HR systems administration, compliance tracking, and employee engagement initiatives.

What You'll Do

HR Operations & Administrative Support

  • Support daily Human Resources operations across multiple hotel properties.
  • Serve as a resource for HR teams and leadership on HR processes, systems, and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and organized employee personnel files and confidential records.
  • Coordinate HR programs, initiatives, and compliance-related activities.
  • Assist with HR audits, reporting, and workforce data requests.

Onboarding & Employee Records

  • Support onboarding processes including new hire paperwork, orientation coordination, and documentation completion.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance of employment documentation, including Form I-9s and new hire records.
  • Coordinate pre-employment requirements such as background checks and onboarding documentation.
  • Maintain records related to employee status changes, attendance, and leave tracking.
  • Partner with payroll to ensure employee data is processed accurately and timely.

Recruitment & Training Support

  • Assist with recruitment coordination including interview scheduling and candidate communication.
  • Support job postings and internal transfer processes.
  • Coordinate training sessions and track completion of required training and certifications.
  • Maintain records of employee acknowledgements and compliance training.

Employee Support & Engagement

  • Respond to general team member questions regarding HR processes and benefits documentation.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and HR-led programs across properties.
  • Coordinate HR meetings, schedules, and department calendars as needed.
  • Assist with special projects and cross-property HR initiatives.

What You'll Bring

Required Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Preferred Education & Experience

  • Previous Human Resources or administrative experience preferred.
  • Hospitality or service industry experience preferred.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across multiple locations.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
