Job description

Duties * Meets customer needs through effective communication, coordination, and delivery of quality services. * Applies project management, operational, and technical expertise to plan, coordinate, and execute complex projects. * Oversees projects by managing scope, schedules, resources, risks, and stakeholder requirements. * Develops project plans, establishes milestones, evaluates performance, and adjusts resources to meet objectives. Requirements Conditions of employment * This position is designated Tier 3, Non-Critical Sensitive, Moderate Risk and requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance Level as a condition of employment. * TDY travel is required up to 30% of the time. * This position requires pre-employment Financial Disclosure Statement OGE Form 450 and annually thereafter in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Additional information about transcripts is . Specialized Experience: I have one year of specialized experience which includes managing project activities, coordinating logistics and transportation requirements, analyzing operational needs, and supporting the planning, execution, and delivery of mission-critical programs while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS- 12). Education This job does not have an education qualification requirement. Additional information * Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. * You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. * This position requires a 1 year probationary period during which the agency evaluates your fitness and whether your continued employment advances the public interest. Time-limited promotions may be extended up to a maximum of five years. Time limited reassignments and changes to lower grade may exceed five years, however return rights may be impacted. Position may be made permanent without further competition.
