Who We're Looking For:
At TSMC Washington a Sr. Compensation Specialist will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our employee compensation programs. This position requires a strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for providing exceptional support to our employees. The Sr. Compensation Specialist will work closely with HR, finance, and TSMC HQ to ensure our compensation programs are competitive, cost-effective, and aligned with our company values and objectives.
Responsibilities included but not limited to:
  • Analyze and evaluate existing benefit & compensation programs to ensure they are competitive and cost-effective.
  • Conduct benchmarking and market analysis to identify trends and make recommendations for plan design improvements.
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to manage compensation budgets and forecast future costs.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding compensation inquiries and issues, providing clear and informative responses.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee benefit & compensation data in HRIS and other relevant systems.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding employee compensation.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new benefit & compensation programs and initiatives.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management to support decision-making processes.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in benefit & compensation management.
  • Collaboration & cross-training protocols within HR, specifically encompassing areas like benefit programs and HRIS systems. Extend these collaborative efforts to engage cross-functional departments and various organizational locations.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in compensation administration required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (Power Bi a plus).
  • Experience with HRIS systems and benefits administration platforms.
  • Familiarity with federal, state, and local compensation regulations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • WorldatWork: Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) is a plus.

Work Location & Schedule:
This position operates on-site at our Camas, Washington location during core business hours, Monday through Friday 8 am - 5 pm; however, there may be occasions when additional hours are necessary to meet project demands.

Pay Transparency & Other Compensation
At TSMC, your base pay is just one component of your comprehensive compensation package. For new hires in this position, the starting salary typically ranges between $82,970 and $112,169 per year. The full salary range for this Job Grade extends from $82,970 and $121,900, depending on factors such as skills, qualifications, education, experience, tenure, and position level. TSMC's total compensation package also includes market-competitive pay, profit sharing and incentive bonuses, and tuition assistance.
* This position is also eligible for a Sign-On Bonus depending on various factors.
* This position is also eligible for a Relocation Bonus depending on various factors.

Employees and their families are offered access to comprehensive coverage, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, our wellbeing program, as well as basic life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment insurance.
Additionally, employees can enroll in our 401(k) plan with an employer match and participate in the employee stock purchase program. Employees receive 12 recognized holidays per year and accrue 120 hours of paid time off annually their first year.
