Pay Range: $20.96 to $30.41
Actual pay will be based on various factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency for the role, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, Kwik Trip gives 40% of pre-tax profits back to our coworkers with bonuses ranging from 8-12% of each coworker's gross annual wage depending on company profitability and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more.
Kwik Trip, Inc. Is seeking a Compensation Coordinator. The individual will work with our Compensation team performing pay audits, providing first level support for all incoming compensation related inquiries, assist with the administration of our compensation program, as well as updating our HRIS system, documentation, policies, surveys, etc.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Perform compensation audits
  • Answer compensation related questions from coworkers and leaders
  • Research new store locations for market analysis
  • Update compensation documents as needed
  • Complete custom and standardized compensation surveys
  • Assist in educating our new and current leaders on our compensation philosophy
  • Assists with gathering data and reviewal of pay equity within the organization
  • Assist HRIS and leadership with SuccessFactors Compensation module to support efficiency and perform analytics

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Associates Degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance or related fields or relevant work experience.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding customer service skills and proven ability to protect confidential information
  • High attention to detail, well organized and able to create/maintain effective documentation
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from individuals or groups of co-workers and/or leaders.
  • Must be able to handle multiple projects/tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Ability to effectively work as a team member and individual contributor
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Must live in La Crosse, WI area and work onsite

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 1-2 years previous Compensation experience
  • Advanced Excel skills such as VLOOKUPs, formulas, pivot tables, etc.
  • Experience working in HRIS systems; SuccessFactors experience is a plus

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, daytime hours
