Job Summary

We are seeking a high-performing Finance Manager to lead financial oversight for a food service operation within a premier financial institution. This role offers a unique opportunity to operate as the finance lead for a multi-site, multi-service operation, partnering closely with both internal leadership and an external client.

Ideal for candidates with a public accounting background, this position blends financial planning & analysis, technical accounting, and strategic business partnership in a highly visible environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary finance partner supporting a high-profile client account with multiple locations and service lines
  • Analyze financial performance across sites and service lines, delivering clear, actionable insights to operations and client stakeholders
  • Lead the monthly close process, ensuring accurate revenue recognition, cost allocation, and contract compliance
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans, identifying risks and opportunities
  • Partner with operational leadership to drive profitability, cost efficiency, and operational performance
  • Prepare and present financial results and insights directly to client stakeholders as part of regular business reviews
  • Oversee billing, cash flow, and working capital management, including AR and DSO performance
  • Perform detailed balance sheet reviews and reconciliations, ensuring financial integrity
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting, controls, and financial transparency
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Accounting, Sector-level Finance and Field Operations teams

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Accounting strongly preferred)
  • 3-4+ years of experience, public accounting experience preferred
  • Strong foundation in US GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting
  • Experience managing or auditing complex, multi-entity or multi-location operations
  • Proven ability to translate financial data into strategic insights for business partners
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, with confidence presenting to senior leadership and clients
  • Experience with data and analytics
  • Food service experience is a plus
