Revenue Operations Associate
Partially Remote Full-Time Boston
About the Role
Supporting the Business Development and Development teams, Compass Working Capital is looking for a detail-oriented and results-driven Revenue Operations Associate to join the team. The Revenue Operations Associate plays a key role in building and sustaining Compass Working Capital's donor and housing partner pipeline.
Reporting to the Director of Business Development & Partnerships, this position requires excellent attention to detail, strong collaboration skills, and a willingness to learn and contribute to project coordination and relationship management. The ideal candidate uses data-driven insights to enhance outreach and expand impact.

Project Coordination
The capacity to structure, organize, and manage multiple concurrent workflows, ensuring that tasks, timelines, and deliverables across business development, fundraising, and partner engagement activities are aligned and progressing efficiently.

The ability to convey information in a clear, professional, and purpose-driven manner across a range of audiences, including internal teams, partners, and donors.
Attention to Detail
A consistent focus on accuracy, completeness, and precision in all aspects of work, particularly in data management, documentation, and communication.
Customer Service
The ability to provide responsive, respectful, and solution-oriented support to external and internal stakeholders, ensuring a positive and reliable experience in all interactions.
Data Entry
The ability to accurately input, maintain, and update information within systems such as Salesforce, ensuring that records are complete, consistent, and reliable.
Responsibilities will include:
Prospect Management & Support
• Assist with partnership pipeline activities by identifying, researching, and vetting prospective partners based on client and coach needs, equity considerations, service capacity, and regional demand.
• Evaluate inbound inquiries and leads to prioritize those with the strongest alignment to Compass's mission and program goals.
• Outbound prospecting and initial outreach to high-potential leads, effectively communicating Compass's value proposition to secure introductory meetings for the Business Development Manager.
• Build and maintain a comprehensive prospect database targeting strategic regions and time-sensitive opportunities.
• Utilize established messaging to clearly communicate the impact and value of Compass's FSS Link, Direct Services, and commitment to financial empowerment.
• Engage prospects with a knowledgeable, empathetic, and relationship-centered approach that builds trust and fosters ongoing collaboration.
Data Management and Reporting
• Maintain accurate and complete records of client, partner, and prospect interactions and proposals in Salesforce to support data quality, reporting, and relationship management.
• Regularly update databases to reflect current engagement status and activities.
• Develop detailed prospect and customer profiles, along with tailored materials, to support personalized and mission-aligned outreach.
• Support the Business Development Manager with organized data and insights to strengthen engagement strategies.
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support organizational priorities and growth.
Project Coordination & Support
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer support, responding to inquiries through the FSS Link inbox and triaging technical support tickets.
• Coordinate meeting scheduling and follow-ups to ensure timely, organized, and respectful communication.
• Prepare proposals, agreements, and supporting materials that advance revenue opportunities aligned with organizational goals.
• Partner with the marketing team to contribute insights and content for lead-nurturing campaigns focused on community impact and stakeholder engagement.
• Track and manage proposal and partnership records in Salesforce to support transparency, accountability, and reporting.
Development (Fundraising) Operations
• Process and record pledges and gifts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare and send donor acknowledgements in alignment with organizational standards.
• Maintain and update donor records to support effective tracking and relationship management.
• Assist with data entry, cleanup, and ongoing data integrity efforts in Salesforce.
• Generate and support routine and ad hoc reports to inform fundraising activities.
• Monitor data quality and flag inconsistencies or issues for resolution
National FSS Conference and Events Support
Please note, Compass's 2026 National FSS Conference will be in Chicago, Illinois from October 18th to October 20th, travel and working this event is required.
• Support all conference logistics pre-planning, develop event timelines, coordinate speaker bios and support travel logistics planning.
• Oversee and track event registration and registration reporting.
• Manage inbox and respond to registration inquiries in a timely manner.
• Support day-of event logistics - registration, communicating with vendors, and troubleshooting technical or hospitality issues to ensure a seamless attendee experience.

Qualifications and Skills
• 2-4 years of experience in sales, business development, client engagement, project coordination, fundraising, or nonprofit relationship management, with a proven track record of building and nurturing relationships.
• Highly detail-oriented and organized, able to manage multiple projects and priorities efficiently while maintaining a focus on quality and impact.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of establishing rapport quickly and fostering trust with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in CRM systems, preferably Salesforce, with strong skills in data entry, management, and reporting to support informed decision-making.
Benefits
The salary range for this role is $47,170 - $56,445 commensurate with experience. We'll promote your professional growth and development by providing access to a competitive salary and benefits package and additional employee benefits that include but are not limited to:
• Healthcare: medical, dental, vision: Compass covers up to 80% of employee premiums and 80% for dependents. There is no waiting period to enroll in health insurance.

• Parental Leave: Employees who have been employed for at least three (3) months are eligible to take up to 12 weeks of unpaid leave. *Employee must be with the organization for six (6) months to receive up to twelve (12) weeks of full pay from the organization.
