Gameday Companion & Driver for All UW Home Volleyball Games

Schedule:
Must be available for all UW-Madison home volleyball matches (mix of Thursday/Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons, with a few early-week exceptions). The schedule of the 14 dates is currently available on the UW-Madison volleyball website. Times are still to be determined.
It is possible to co-share the position with a friend, with each person attending half (or some other proportion of the games) as long as all games are covered.

Hourly $25.00 to $25.00

Position Summary/Job Duties:
Provide dedicated transportation and companionship to all 2026 UW-Madison home volleyball games for a retired UW-Madison professor and his adult son (who are long-time fans).
Duties include:
  • Transportation: Drive your own vehicle to the employer's residence; then, transition to driving the employer's hybrid BMW SUV to transport him and his adult son safely to and from the UW Field House.
  • Gameday Companion: Accompany the employer and his adult son into the arena, sit together in premium season-ticket seats, and enjoy the match together.
  • Assistance: Ensure a smooth, safe experience navigating stadium crowds, entry gates, and seating.

Compensation Note: You will be paid an hourly rate ($25/hr) for the entire duration of each game, including the time driving to the game (from the employer's residence) and the time spent watching the game. Your admission to the game is fully covered via the employer's premium season tickets. An additional $25 per game will be given to you to compensate your driving to and from the employer's residence.
Qualifications:
  • Must be a big fan of UW Volleyball! Ideal for someone who loves the sport and would enjoy watching high-level matches alongside a highly knowledgeable, lifelong fan in premium seats.
  • Must be reliable and responsible, with excellent communication skills.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and your own reliable vehicle to commute to the employer's residence.
  • Must be comfortable driving a mid-sized hybrid SUV and navigating crowded campus athletic facilities.
