Responsibilities:
โ€ข Assist with daily living needs offering companionship care
โ€ข Take clients on walks, trips to social events, assistance with hobbies, or run an errand
โ€ข Prepare a home cooked meal (you don't need to be a gourmet chef)
โ€ข Perform light housekeeping
โ€ข A Homemaker Companion will not provide medical, nursing or skilled services
Requirements:
โ€ข High school degree and/or a G.E.D. certificate
โ€ข Read, write, speak, and understand English with or without reasonable accommodations as needed for the job.
โ€ข Homemaker Companion must be able to lift at least 10 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations.
โ€ข Must have a current and valid driver's license and be able to safely operate a vehicle in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations with or without reasonable accommodations.
โ€ข Must have a negative TB test or be able to acquire one upon being hired.
