Northwest Texas Healthcare System in Amarillo, Texas is recruiting a BC/BE Neurosurgeon for a position with Northwest Physicians Group.  Board certification or eligibility and completion of an ACGME-accredited neurosurgery residency required.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the NWTHS mission of delivering high quality, compassionate care to Amarillo and the Texas Panhandle region
  • Shared trauma call - NWTHS is a Level II trauma center
  • Diagnose, treat, and surgically manage wide range of diseases and conditions
  • Perform cranial and spine procedures  

Requirements:

  • BC/BE Neurosurgery required
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited neurosurgical residency required
  • Active, clear Texas license and DEA or ability to obtain
  • Clean professional background
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Compassionate bedside manner
