Northwest Texas Healthcare System in Amarillo, Texas is recruiting a BC/BE Gastroenterologist for a position with Northwest Physicians Group.

  • Large, unsaturated geographic and population catchment area of ~ 450,000 in Texas Panhandle and border states
  • Shared call with community GI physicians 

Responsibilities:

  • Support the NWTHS mission of delivering high quality, compassionate care to Amarillo and the Texas Panhandle region
  • Assess, diagnose and treat diseases and disorders of the digestive system
  • Perform common GI procedures and advanced procedures if desired  

Requirements:

  • BC/BE Gastroenterology required
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency and fellowshp required
  • Active, clear Texas license and DEA or ability to obtain
  • Clean professional background
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Compassionate bedside manner
